When we focus on capturing the most tender parts of our hearts, we can create something so pure. My approach to being a visual storyteller is to document the love, connection, and joy of a family in their favorite place, a woman finding herself again, or a mother carrying her beloved child. All of these stories, these narratives have a very special place in my heart and I know all of them very well. Which is also why I know how to approach each and every session with kindness, patience, and warmth. If we are to create art together, it takes trust and collaboration in order to get your story just right. From beginning to the end you will feel like you've been a part of every step in telling your story in the most true and authentic way all the while knowing that you are being taken care of in every way possible. Every image will be an honest and beautiful depiction of just how magical you truly are.

If you booked me for a family session I'll have you fill out a questionnaire upon booking as stated above so I can get to know a little more about you and your family! If you are coming to me for The Art of Healing, branding, or motherhood session we will set up a phone consultation so we can talk in more detail the vision you had and how we can create something specific to you! This time also includes leading up to your session where I help with wardrobe and choosing the best location that fits you!

I am not only here to capture you and/or your family, but to ensure you feel comfortable, seen and guided through our time together. When it comes to my portrait work I do guided posing, a lot of times I will act out the movement or pose so that you know exactly how it will look. The more you feel your body and the way it moves throughout the session, the more in tune with yourself you become. My family sessions are a lot less hands on and a lot more giving prompts instead of poses. The prompts create fun, less stuffy, more playful connections. The prompts not only encourage connection and moments of laughter, but it allows me to observe and capture each moment as it naturally unfolds. In doing so, I capture the real, raw in between moments that are full of goodness and light!
